Newborn sessions, where I come to YOU. Cuz I get it. The whole getting a toddler + a newborn out of the house in coordinating outfits and all of the snacks/bottles/burp clothes/changes of clothes you need makes for a hectic morning 🙃

So let me come to you, in the comfort of your own home. no need for shoes, stay comfy and let me come capture some of those first moments of a family of 3, 4, 5.. whatever you might be ;) 

• up to 2 hours of shooting time (most newborn sessions last about 1-2 hours to accommodate for diaper changing and feeding time). 
• 80+ images in an online gallery which allows you to order prints and download any images you would like from our session
• Copyrights so you can print wherever you'd like

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO SCHEDULE?

I RECOMMEND SCHEDULING THE SESSION WITHIN THE FIRST 3 WEEKS! BABIES ARE TYPICALLY IN THAT SLEEPY STAGE THE FIRST COUPLE WEEKS OF LIFE OUT OF THE WOMB. I ALSO WANT MAMA TO FEEL COMFORTABLE SO IF WE NEED TO SCHEDULE A BIT FURTHER OUT THAN THAT IS OKAY TOO! 

TIME OF DAY THAT WE SHOULD SCHEDULE?

ANYWHERE FROM 9-12 AM IS THE BEST TIME TO SCHEDULE FOR BEST LIGHTING AND TO AVOID THE OH SO LOVELY WITCHING HOUR ;) 

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE? 

I USUALLY PLAN ON ABOUT 2 HOURS OF THE NEWBORN SESSION. THIS GIVES US PLENTY OF TIME TO CHANGE DIAPERS AND SNEAK IN A FEEDING IF WE NEED TO.

HOW DO I PREPARE FOR THE NEWBORN SHOOT?

I TYPICALLY TAKE PHOTOS WHERE WE HAVE THE BEST LIGHTING IN THE HOUSE. SO MAKE SURE TO OPEN ALL OF THE BLINDS AND CURTAINS TO LET IN AS MUCH LIGHT AS POSSIBLE. PUT AWAY AS MUCH CLUTTER AS POSSIBLE TO AVOID MESSY BACKGROUNDS IN YOUR PHOTOS! I CAN ALSO HELP WITH THIS ONCE I GET THERE. YOU JUST HAD A BABY! I KNOW DE-CLUTTERING ISN'T TOP ON YOUR LIST OF PRIORITIES. 

WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?

NEUTRALS! WHITE, BEIGE, BROWNS, GREY, MAUVE, LIGHT BLUES. TRY TO AVOID LOUD PRINTS IF POSSIBLE! 
MOM- A COZY SWEATER WITH JEANS OR LEGGINGS OR A FLOWY DRESS
DAD - COLORS THAT COMPLIMENT WHAT MOM IS WEARING. JEANS, KHAKIS OR BLACK PANTS. A SOLID COLOR SHIRT. TRY TO AVOID crazy PATTERNS. 
BABY- A SOLID COLOR ONESIE OR BABY KNOTTED WRAP. TONS OF CUTE IDEAS ON PINTEREST!
